Last week, BookExpo America launched a new website in preparation for the conference, which will be held May 31 to June 3 in New York. The new site includes basic website upgrades like easier navigation tools and new imaging and branding, as well as new interactive features like My BEA, a social networking platform, and BEA Story Project, where attendees can share stories from the event.
“The web redesign and new features such as a directors blog, digital content delivery in the form of pod casting and streaming video, social networking and show planning software, these are all initial steps in recreating BookExpo America as a year round relationship-building tool for our constituents,” Lance Fensterman, event director for BEA, told The Book Standard. “This is the first step in a longer journey toward a new horizon in how BEA serves our industry.”
