I heart StarCraft

Computer and Videogames’ website is purportedly confirming what has just been an incessant rumor up to now: Vivendi game studio/World of Warcraft developer Blizzard Entertainment will announce an MMO spinoff of their wildly popular Starcraft franchise at the company’s May 19th Worldwide Invitational in South Korea.

GigaOM » World of Starcraft: New Blizzard MMO to be announced May 19?

When I was a camp director for Cybercamps, this game was first a nuisance but then quicky a god send and finally the coolest activity we did. Rock on Blizzard. Can’t wait til it hits the states.

  1. clearly I meant 2 up there. WordPress should totally have editing of comments.

My bet the announcement is diablo 3. Still a good thing.

I just want to play a graphically updated version of starcraft, hence my enthusiasm. I just played starcraft the other day, it really stands up in terms of gameplay to modern RTS’s. Not sure if that’s a statement about starcraft goodness or the lack of innovation in that genre : )
